I wanted to propose putting a practice squad in place here.
Here is the rule I am proposing:
Practice Squad: The Practice Squad will consist of up to 8 players that have no more than 3 years of NFL playing experience. They will not count towards the 45 main active roster. Practice squad players will counts against the salary cap. Once a player enters his 4th year in the NFL he must either be waived or promoted to the active roster. A team must have a roster spot available in order to promote a player from the practice squad. If a team is at the 45 max roster limit, then a player must be waived in order to promote a practice squad player. The salary of players on the practice squad will only count at 50% towards the salary cap.
Any player that is on the practice squad all season and NOT promoted to the active roster, can be waived with no cap penalty in the offseason. As the offseason begins there will be a time frame to waive practice squad players with no penalty.
Practice squad players must be added to MFL as minor league players/taxi squad. To add a practice squad player to MFL, select "Taxi Squad" on left hand side menu when an eligible player is claimed.
There will be a section on Pro Boards to post players on your team's practice squad. If a team desires to promote a player it must be posted there.
We will use NFL.com to determine the number of years a player has played in the NFL.
This will change the roster max to 45, the min to 35 and add an 8 player practice squad.
Please vote on if you would like this or not.

This has failed, I feel we need to wait on this for a little bit and maybe revisit it later.
