How about a practice squad to stash young talent?
Drop the regular roster a bit to leave a few more veterans in FA for injuries.
Players with 3 years or less experience, poaching if we can create a rule.
8 man squad, drop the regular roster to 50, 48 or 45 and make GM's decide who should be active on gameday like real coaches every Sunday.
Wouldn't be against a 10 man practice squad to make even more rosters spaces to sell it to the league.
If we did 48 + 8 that would be 3 more roster spots than we currently have.
Or to make game day rosters tougher, and to leave a few more FA on the board, 45 + 10 would be fun.
