Their are 6 teams on a bye week in week 14 which is the first week of the playoffs. Teams in the playoffs who played in the 1st round like me had 4-6 players off on bye weeks. This should not happen:
Their are two much better options:
1. Play a 14 week schedule and eliminate 1 playoff team from the AFC and NFC.
2. Play a 14 week schedule and play the super bowl on week 18.
All of the other leagues I play in use one of these formats. This league makes plenty of rule changes each season why has this not been brought up and voted on.

I think having the super bowl in week 18 is much more unpredictable than knowing which players will be on bye during the first round of the playoffs 7-8 months before they start... but the schedule isn't out yet so we don't know if that will be the case this season

The 2023 Bye weeks are out. Six teams are off again The Falcons, Bears, Packers, Colts, Saints and Commanders.
There are 6 games with 12 teams in the first round of playoffs in the league that will be effected with 6 teams on a bye in the first round.
There are 0 teams on a bye in week 18 with only 1 game and 2 teams effected. Big difference.

I do see that some sites posted "2023 Bye Weeks" but they are exactly the same as last season so I'm assuming they haven't been updated yet -- ATL, CHI, GB, IND, NO, WAS had byes in week 14 last year
Hard to make a case for a week 18 super bowl when any player in the league is a potential risk to be resting, but hopefully the bye weeks work more in our favor this season so that we can avoid either situation
