Alright, first time trying one of these. So I apologize if my spelling is off (prob way off) and remember this is just my opinions which I am sure I will get the majority of these wrong. But here is my 2022 Legendary Mock Draft (1st round only)
#1 GBP ~ K. Walker ~ RB ~ They have Carter and I think there is enough standalone valve in him then to double dip on the Jets RBs, they also have Cooper and JuJu. So the need for WR is as bad.
2~ TBB ~ B. Hall~ RB ~ They need a lot, which normally means you go BPA. Will prob look to move down.
3 ~ MIN ~ J. Williams ~ WR ~ Most would say London, but I think MIN goes for the more upside paly here.
4 ~ SEA ~ D. London ~ WR ~ I think London goes next, SEA could use some WR help.
5 ~ LVR ~ G. Wilson ~ WR ~ This team really doesn’t need any help being back to back champs. I think there is a clear top 5 in the class, and Wilson rounds it out. The rich get richer.
6 ~ PIT ~ T. Burks ~ WR ~ This is where it starts getting hard. I could see Olave going here as well.
7 ~ TEN ~ C. Olave ~ WR ~ Titans need a QB, but I think it’s too early for Pickett. I think Olave will be an easy choice for them.
8 ~ ATL ~ C. Watson ~ WR ~ They could go Cook, but I think the potential of Watson is too strong for them to pass up.
9 ~ WAS ~ J. Cook ~ RB ~ I think if Cook falls he stops here
10 ~ PHI ~ S. Moore ~ WR ~ PHI has come in and did well with this team, I think 1 more offensive piece sets their offense up nicely. So landing the toy for Mahomes is not too shabby,
11 ~ WAS~ J. Dotson ~ WR ~ I think WAS says who needs defense! Getting another good pick in Dotson to add to his young offensive core.
12 ~ DAL ~ G. Pickens ~ WR ~ I think this could be a QB for the eventual Goff replacement, but I think getting Pickens here will be to hard to pass up.
13 ~ LAC ~ K. Hamilton ~ S ~ With K.Willis retiring it left a big hole at Safety, but here is a stud for years to come.
14 ~ PHI ~ D. Lloyd - LB - PHI get another great addition here. Snagging the 1st LB off the board.
15 ~ DET ~ Kenny Pickett ~ QB.~ Finally got a QB going here. I don’t think D. Mills is the answer. He could go Hutch or Ridder here, but I think it will be Pickett.
16 ~ DAL ~ A. Hutchinson ~ DE ~ Same as before, while I think with having two picks in the top 17 you would look for Goff replacement, having Hutch fall this far can’t be passed up
17 ~ CIN ~ D. Ridder ~ QB ~ While there are a few ppl I like here, I would prob take the shot/chance with Ridder. Having Fields makes this more of a value pick. If he is gone will prob look to LB/RB/WR.
18 ~ LAR ~ K. Thibodeaux ~ LB~ I think they would have wanted Pickett or Ridder to fall, if they don’t, I think its LB and Thibodeaux
19 ~ CAR ~ R. White ~ RB ~ I think CAR goes with upside on these two picks and get a RB/WR. I think the RB is White or Pierce.
20 ~ CAR ~ A. Pierce.~ WR ~ I think the WR is Pierce/Bell or Metchie. I'm going with Pierce.
21 ~ NYG ~ J. Metchie ~ WR ~ I think Metchie goes right after. The Giants could use another young WR.
22 ~ TEN ~ M. Willis ~ QB ~ I think TEN will address their QB spot here and take Willis off the board, would prob preferred Picket/Ridder.
23 ~ BAL ~ N. Dean ~ LB ~ They are pretty deep across the board, but I think getting Dean will just continue to improve their LB Core.
24 ~ ARZ~ D. Pierce ~ RB ~ I highly doubt Blaine picks here, he will prob have traded about three time before this pick even comes up. If he does, I think he adds another RB to the room.
25 ~ TEN - Q. Walker ~ LB ~ I think they go LB here to improve the LB Room.
26 ~ PIT ~ D. Bell ~ WR ~ I think PIT doubles down on WRs and adds Bell to the room.
27 ~ KCC ~ I. Spiller ~ RB ~ I think he looks to RB here with Spiller. White/ Allgeier/ Robinson are all possibilities
28 ~ KCC ~ J. Tolbert ~ WR ~ I think they will be happy that Spiller fell, but wishing a better WR would fall. I think this is a RB/WR combo spot for KCC.
29 ~ CHI ~ T. Allgeier ~ RB ~ Having Q.Ollison to back him up, getting Allgeier here gives him a long-term answer at RB
30 ~ CIN - Z. White ~ RB ~ This pick would be more of a value/hold for when Jacobs moves on next year.
31 ~ BUF ~ J. Johnson ~ DE ~ This is another team with not a lot of holes. Getting a DE is one of the few positions they could use. He could go with G.Karlaftis at DE instead.
32 ~ NYJ ~ T. McBride TE ~ because looking at Ant's team, he doesn’t believe in defense and the only offensive piece he is missing is TE.
