The Cardinals and Browns have agreed to a deal.
Browns send:
Ja’marr Chase (WR-CIN) 6M (2025)
Malcolm Smith (LB-CLE) 5M (2021)
To the Cardinals for:
Chauncey Gardner Johnson (S-NOS) 2M (2021) RFA
Anthony Walker (LB-CLE) 8M (2023)
Harold Landry (LB-TEN) 1.7/8/8/8

Big trade here, my defense takes a big hit as I’m giving three nice players signed longterm. Basically for Chase, Smith is a backup on a 1 year deal to make cap even. Chase gives me a top WR prospect to hopefully build my team around. This moves strengthens the Browns defense and I get a nice WR.
