Hey all, As I was fixing the QB scoring, I noticed there was a category for 1st downs, I thought this might be a cool stat to have. First downs are a big play and QB is usually responsible for them. What do you guys think? Do you like the idea? Of course, it would be for next season.

1 point for each first down? I thjjnk any player that posts a first down should be in this, not just the QB. Some running backs and WR's are used just for first downs, and would make more options more valuable.

I would also like to find out how many 1st downs a player would get.

FYI - I just looked and there is a category for Passing first downs, rushing first downs, receiving first downs. So we could do this for all offensive positions

Yes. I can check on that stat. Since I use it in my home league.

Top 5 QB, Murray 39, Newton 33, Allen 28, Jackson 26, Wentz 20
Top 5 RB, Kamara 61, Cook 60, Elliot 53, Henry 52, Jacobs 46
Top 5 WR, Hopkins 47, Allen 42, Diggs 39, Adams 39, Locket 38
Top 5 TE, Kelce 42, Waller 30, Kittle 25, Hurst 23, Hockenson 23
Through 10 games, the avg is between 2 to 5 per game, so 1 point per 1st down wouldn't be much, but would add value to certain players, more than others.

I’m going to add a poll to this for scoring options people can vote on

Kinda the names you'd expect which would make them even more valuable, basically the rich getting richer?

I'm going to pass on this after a lot of thought.
