I really dont understand this trade by my division rival. The idea behind value is to get something in term of more asset value. In this trade, if my math is right, the Texans rise 29 spots on the front end, but only drop 28 spots on the back end. There's nothing gained in this deal for the Bills, other than giving up the more valuable pick in the higher round.

The asset value that he got in return is being stacked in the 12th Rounds with picks. And the dropoff from 11.28 to 13.28 is a dropoff I'm willing to do to give up 2 12th rounders
